Their mission, to harness the full potential of light, paired with data-driven innovation and IoT technology, was about more than improving crops. It was about empowering growers, streamlining processes, and fostering sustainability at every step of the way.

Tackling Uncertainty with Purpose
At the time, the greenhouse industry faced a clear gap. Innovative ideas like photobiology, the science of how light influences plant growth, carried tremendous potential, but also caused hesitation. Growers often worked with legacy methods, and introducing IoT lighting systems that could dynamically adjust light spectra based on changing conditions felt overwhelming. Additionally, there was a lack of accessible resources to educate growers on how these tools worked or the science behind them.

During this tenure with LumiGrow, marketing guided the development of resources, thought leadership, and a strategy to advance their story. Together, we created what would become the single most comprehensive collection of educational content on light spectrum and photobiology available in the industry. From white papers to webinars, from step-by-step guides to in-depth research reports, these resources demystified the science and made it actionable. Growers not only learned what to change; they understood why it mattered and how it could transform their crops.
The technology itself was revolutionary. LumiGrow’s IoT lighting system and AI software allowed growers to fine-tune light quality and quantity for individual crops, responding to real-time outdoor conditions, climate specifics, and the crops’ needs.
